Microsoft Project Training Gets Boost

A local company that has been providing comprehensive training into computer software office packages for more than 15 years is running two modules next month.

Mullan Training is to provide in-depth training packages on Microsoft Project - both at Introduction and Advanced Levels - and can help users get to know the product and utilize the many tools and techniques available within this vast application.

Their training suites are in Belfast city centre, opposite the Europa Hotel, so are easy to find with public transport just opposite.

A spokesperson said: "Microsoft Project is a flexible software application for creating schedule graphics; estimating resource requirements; analyzing task dependencies and tracking project progress.

"It can be used to provide a graphical presentation of project schedule, where users simply list the tasks and assign task durations or dates," he said.

"We can aprovide training in our training suites, or onsite in a place of work and can train up to 10 delegates," noting that for onsite courses they can provide up to eight laptops, an LCD projector and a projector screen.

During the course, delegates will learn how to create effective project plans and effectively maintain and update project progress.

With emphasis on the Critical Path, delegates will become familiar with key concepts such as the use of the GanttChart Wizard to display the Critical Path; display With Filter/Group; display Slack on the Critical Path; Activity Float; Terminal Float and Contractor Time Risk Allowance.

The Intro Level course is on 22 & 23 March and Advanced Level on 26 March, for further details visit www.mullantraining.com
