Volvo Gears Up For Snow Road Trip

Snowbombing is motoring to the mountains of Mayrhofen with the Snowbombing Road Trip -Driven by Volvo.

The road trip is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, which involves driving to Europe’s greatest show on snow whilst having fun en route. Passengers will rub shoulders with other free-spirited Snowbombers along with the acts and artists playing at the event.

Joining the 500 Snowbombers lucky enough to embark on this trip will be a whole host of extra special celebrity guests including cheeky-chappy singer Tom Clarke (The Enemy) and Reverend and The Makers front man Jon McClure.

Latino lotharios The Cuban Bros and Snowbombing’s resistant imagineers Squeaky Hill will also be entertaining the masses who have elected to drive to the Worlds Greatest Show on Snow.

Powering the Snowbombing Road Trip in style will be the rugged Volvo XC60 R-DESIGN, new dynamic C30 SportsCoupe and C70 coupe/convertible as well as a selection of Volvo's lower CO2-emitting, fuel-efficient DRIVe models.

Leaving on Saturday 3 April, boarding the ferry from Dover to Calais and then driving on to Frankfurt where Snowbombers will stay overnight and hit Germany’s legendary club ‘Cocoon’.

Arriving at Snowbombing in Mayrhofen on Sunday 4 April with a great fanfare of a welcome before the snowy shenanigans kick off. In true Snowbombing style entertainment is to be expected at every pit stop along the way with various challenges, tricks and treats.
