New Berlingo Traction Option

Customers ordering Citroën Berlingo 850 L1 1.6HDi 90hp LX or Enterprise vans can now specify a new Grip Control Electronic Stability Programme option pack for just £640 + VAT - just the job in one of the UK’s worst winters for many years.

Complementing the recently launched enhanced traction Berlingo 625 L1 1.6HDi 90hp XTR+ van, the competitively priced Grip Control Electronic Stability Programme option provides improved traction for the highest (850kg) payload Berlingo LX and Enterprise models.

This new Grip Control option features an electronic, driver adjustable, five-mode traction control system, as well as additional safety and vehicle protection features - including a Hill Start Assist function, passenger’s airbag, under-body protection, half-cover wheel trims and Michelin Latitude Tour HP Mud & Snow tyres.

Charles Peugeot, head of commercial vehicles and business sector, said: "For customers specifying 850kg payload Berlingo LX or Enterprise vans, the new Grip Control ESP option enables drivers to select five different traction modes from inside the cab.

"This feature provides improved traction both in slippery off-highway and wintry on-highway conditions.

"When seeking an even greater level of enhanced traction for off-road use, customers can look to the Berlingo XTR+ with its sophisticated multi-plate, mechanical limited slip differential."
