VW Expands Fleet Team

Volkswagen Fleet Services has expanded its dedicated Business Centre team to enhance customer service and ensure it truly offers a one-stop-shop for fleet managers.

Whether a corporate customer requires whole-life cost information, specific product details or wish to book a test drive, all they need is one number.

From this month, the Business Centre team will be expanded further, allowing it to offer – in addition to everything else – a full demonstration test drive booking service.

Once booked centrally, the demonstration vehicles will be dispatched via an appropriate fleet retailer.

Announcing this important change to the business structure, Volkswagen Fleet Marketing Manager, Cheryle Kateley said: "This new service has come at a perfect time for our business and will ensure a seamless customer experience."

She continued: "Working with our dedicated network of fleet retailers across the UK we’ve significantly reduced the delivery distance to a radius of 50 miles – ensuring that a customer has a good relationship with their local Volkswagen Retailer.

"By making this key change we’ve also reduced our impact on the environment."

The Business Centre team is based at Volkswagen’s head office in Milton Keynes and from the start of January will employ 10 people, up from the current seven.

All staff are trained to have specific fleet industry knowledge and are able to assist with any relevant query.
