Green Push By Citroën in Copenhagen

Citroën has unveiled its strategy for the future of green automotive solutions at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen.

The firm hosted a series of press conferences with presentations from in-house industry experts.

The themed presentations showcased Citroën's electric vehicle fleet, and continued the debate on the design and style of ecological cars of tomorrow

Speakers discussed how ambitious low CO2 emission targets are and how motoring manufactures can effectively manage sustainable mobility in the automotive industry.

Citroën also exhibited recent models, which it said highlighted the company’s commitment to ecologically sustainable motoring.

The recently announced C-Zero and the Berlingo First Electric - two 100% electric vehicles that will be launched during 2010 - were on display.

Exhibitors also studied the REVOLTE concept, which was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motorshow earlier this year.

This a concept car created to showcase rechargeable hybrid technology, with an urban design.

The forthcoming new C3 and DS3, which will be two of Citroën’s most CO2-efficient models, were also on display.

Both product ranges will offer variants that emit just 99g/km of CO2.

The 'Green Days at Citroën: Explore the solutions of tomorrow' exhibition was held at the Headquarters of Citroën Scandinavia in Copenhagen.
