CIPD conference to reveal workers opinions on training
The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) annual Learning, Training and Development Conference and Exhibition is set to take place on the 16-18 April in London's Olympia Conference Centre.
The UK’s biggest forum for training and development will showcase the latest in the field, from managing without power to new training evaluation techniques.
The CIPD has surveyed both trainers and trainees, giving delegates an insight into what the customer really thinks about company training provision.
Dr Stephen Covey, author of the best-selling book 'Seven Habits of Highly Effective People', heads the impressive list of speakers on ways of creating positive change.
Dr Meredith Belbin will give advice on how to manage without power while Baroness Susan Greenfield will demonstrate how the psychology of learning leads to greater employee satisfaction and enhanced performance.
E-learning, self-managed development and blended learning are among the topical issues reflected in the 2002 Exhibition, which runs alongside the conference.
Over 350 leading training and development providers will be demonstrating how they are meeting the needs of people management professionals. The exhibition is designed to enable practitioners to experience the latest development tools and techniques and keep up-to-date with trends in this expanding sector.
Exhibitors at this year’s event range from flexible learning providers and training software producers to drama-centred learning specialists and team development experts.
