Old Bailey Bomber Held Over Massereene

A former IRA bomber has been arrested in connection with the dissident republican murders of two soldiers at Massereene army barracks.

Marian Price, 55, was arrested in west Belfast this morning.

She was jailed for her part in the 1973 bombing of the Old Bailey in London, which killed one person and injured around 200 others.

Detectives have also arrested a 39-year-old man, from the south Tyrone area, over the Antrim shootings in March.

The pair are being questioned about the murders of Sappers Patrick Azimkar and Mark Quinsey, (pictured), and the attempted murders of five others.

They were taken to the Serious Crime Suite at Antrim Police Station to be quizzed.

Two men, prominent republican Colin Duffy, 41, and Brian Shivers, 44, from Sperrin Mews in Magherafelt, have been charged with the murders.
