Two men held after fatal Newry stabbing
Police have arrested two men in connection with a fatal stabbing in a busy Newry shopping street.
Following the attack in broad daylight Brendan McCabe (18), from Mourne View Park in Newry, later died in hospital.
Mr McCabe, who was with his mother at the time, was attacked at around 12.30pm on Thursday 28 February in the town's Canal Street.
Witnesses have reported two young men running from the scene after a brief struggle.
Local police have issued a statement saying that they do not consider the killing to be sectarian.
PSNI Chief Inspector Gary Hagan described the attack as a "savage and barbaric murder", and offered his sympathy to the bereaved family.
Police say that the attack took place in front of a large number of witnesses and have appealed for anyone who may have information to contact them urgently on 028 3026 5500.

The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Petrol Bomb Thrown At Police Vehicle In Co Antrim
Two masked men threw a petrol bomb at a police vehicle in Co Antrim. The attack happened in the Castlemara Drive area in Carrickfergus at around 2.20am on Sunday, 29 May. The bomb hit the vehicle, however no damage was caused. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
