NI ebusiness provider joins top three in Fast 50 Award
Good news for Northern Ireland businesses was the placing of local firm BizNet Solutions in third position in the Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 50 Award rankings.
Biznet Solutions, an internet solutions provider, develops websites and ebusiness solutions, had an aggregate revenue growth of 923 per cent.
Announcing the winners of the technology Fast 50 Programme, David O'Flanagan, Partner with Deloitte & Touche, said: "The past 18 months have been a rigorous test for the technology sector. However, these companies exemplify the phenomenal growth and diversity in the Irish technology sector with average turnover growth of more than 500 per cent in a three year period."
The Technology Fast 50 programme recognises and ranks the fastest-growing technology companies in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Of the 50 companies to succeed, 13 are based in Northern Ireland and the full list ranges from well-established companies such as Eurologic Systems (ranked 11) and Trintech Technology (ranked 39) to newly emerging ones such as Nebula Technologies (ranked 12) and Bronway (ranked 21).
Educational software specialist Dublin-based Riverdeep, a global leader in the development and distribution of multi-platform educational products scooped this year's top award in the Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 50 Award.
The company has seen aggregate growth in revenue of 14,193 per cent over the past three years.
