We put you first
At the Ulster Independent Clinic, you’ll find that every member of the team is committed to making your visit as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
Every patient is a person – an individual, not a procedure or set of symptoms.
That means your treatment and care will be planned with you and shaped around your needs. Our nursing team will ensure that you receive excellent quality care throughout your stay, and our resident doctors provide 24-hour medical care on-site.
Visitors
Visits from family and friends can play an important part in patient care and recovery. If you are planning to come to the Clinic to see a patient, you’re welcome to call ahead and speak either to
ward staff or the patient directly to arrange a suitable time.
When you arrive, please let the receptionist know who you’re here to see so they can liaise with the ward staff.
At the Clinic we follow very strict guidelines for infection control. So we ask all visitors to wash their hands before and after visiting patients – and to use the hand cleansing gel provided throughout the building.

There are over 200 consultant specialists available through the Clinic. They are amongst the most eminent in their fields.
The Clinic’s Board of Directors requires consultant medical practitioners to practice in accordance with G.M.C. guidance ‘Good Medical Practice’, completing appropriate appraisal and re-validation requirements and adhering to the Clinic’s practising privileges Conditions of Membership. This means that you can have complete confidence in the knowledge and skill in your chosen consultant.

Just had disc fusion and decompression surgery by Mr Verzin last Thursday .
What I want to say is that I am totally overwhelmed by the proffession way that everyone carried their work . I was attended to day and night by committed and very caring staff. No task too small or too big , everything was done done with confidence and high standards .
Every step was explained in detail .
i wish yo thank each and everyone for their great work .
Unfortunately I do feel I can not ever go back to a NHS Hospital again . The gap between Private care and NHS is too big and far too risky.

I attended UIC for anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction in November 2015.
The level of care and attention I received was far beyond anything I had experienced in the NHS or the private healthcare market.
All medical and nursing staff treated me with the utmost care, respect and privacy.
The food available was beautiful and was one of the standout memories of what was a much more pleasant experience than any surgery should be.
