ACT specialise in the manufacture and assembly of high-quality stainless fabrications, and special-purpose equipment. We provide our services to companies within various industries, from food processing to electronic components manufacturers, as well as providing manufacturing and fabrication services for companies within the construction and architectural industry.

Mild Steel Fabrication
Our mild-steel product range covers all aspects of this engineering discipline, utilising quality materials and our experienced engineers. ACT currently hold structural steel fabrications CE Marking Accreditation up to Execution Class 2. We comply with all CE marking requirements of BS EN 1090-2, and follow all procedure set out in our factory production control. As a result of holding this accreditation, our customers can be assured that our products are fabricated to the highest standards with full material traceability, and all welders are trained and qualified to a high level.

Conveyor Systems
Automation & Conveyor Technology is one of the UK and Ireland's leading manufacturers of various types of conveyor systems. We have a dedicated team of experienced conveyor system experts that will design and develop your conveyor system requirements. All systems are designed using 3d CAD, and all sheet-metal parts are CNC laser cut. The result is a conveyor with excellent standards for accuracy, quality and reliability.

Laser Cutting
Stainless steel, mild steel, MDF and acrylic
In 2009 we purchased our first laser-cutting machine. This has enabled us to significantly reduce our lead times. Previous to this, we were using subcontract laser companies, and this could easily add over one week to our deliveries. We have recently installed a new laser, which has allowed us to further increase our cutting capacity and output. Materials that can be laser cut include - stainless steel, mild steel, MDF and acrylic.

ACT can provide 3 Axis CNC Machining
We have recently installed a 3 Axis vertical milling centre with the latest SolidWorks integrated CAD/CAM programming software.
