An overview.......

Craig David Watson is a yoga teacher from County Down, Ireland, who views yoga not just as a physical practice, but as a philosophy and a way of life. The Asana practice he specialises in is Hatha yoga with Vinyasa (Ashtanga Yoga). He also brings over two decades of strength training experience to his teaching. With a strong understanding of how to fuel the body for optimal performance, Craig combines his knowledge of physical movement and wellness to support his students' holistic well-being and growth.

Craig's classes are beginner friendly but also suit the experienced practitioner perfectly. They are well structured and flowing with elements of both Hatha and Vinyasa styles (flowing while holding poses for a number of breaths). You will quiet your talkative mind by focusing your attention inwards, connecting to the inner energetic body by way of "moving meditation", creating union between the breath and movement. Periods of heat building will be complimented by periods of cooling, grounding and relaxation. Expect to leave his classes feeling strong, present and centred.

In addition to yoga, Craig is passionate about strength training, long walks in nature, enjoying delicious food and drinks, listening to good music, and embracing a slow, peaceful lifestyle. He believes in experiencing as much of this beautiful planet as possible during his limited time here. Craig sees teaching the Eight Limbs of Ashtanga Yoga—as a way of life and helping others connect with their bodies rather than their minds—as his Dharma. This is what brings him the most peace.
