Construction plant training
Our construction plant training courses are accredited by the National Plant Operator Registration Scheme (NPORS). We register successful operators with NPORS, and provide them with photographic ID and certificates for the plant machinery they have been assessed on.
We offer full training for novice operators and also offer a 1-day experienced worker assessment for experienced operators. Experienced worker assessments are suitable for operators with years of experience and for those who have been previously certified by CSR or CPCS schemes.
Health and safety training courses
Safety Lift (Ireland) Ltd is a IOSH approved training provider and offers health and safety awareness programmes to individuals and organisations based in Northern Ireland. We educate people about the various health and safety hazards that can occur in a workplace, and help them to reduce risks and make workplaces healthier and safer. Abrasive wheel training across North Ireland
Under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER), all organisations that make use of abrasive wheels must undergo an abrasive wheel training programme. At Safety Lift (Ireland) Ltd, we provide abrasive wheel safety training for customers based in Belfast and the surrounding areas in Northern Ireland.
Manual Handling training
At Safety Lift (Ireland) Ltd, our staff members are qualified Manual Handling Instructors and Assessors. They undergo a 3-day Manual Handling refresher course every three years to ensure their skills are up to date. Based on your requirements, we can offer a generic half-day Manual Handling awareness session for your employees, or can work with you to develop a training package that is specific to the risks involved in your business. We can also train your own staff as Instructors to enable them to deliver your own in-house Manual Handling training. Training can be conducted either on-site or at our well-equipped training centre.
Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) training
All HGV, LGV and PCV drivers must undergo at least 35 hours of training within a period of five years. At Safety Lift (Ireland) Ltd, we offer high-quality CPC training for all drivers at our training centre in Lisburn or at the client's location.
