About S.P.I.N.I Spinal Injury Northern Ireland
Sp.I.N.I. (Spinal Injury Northern Ireland) is a new and exciting charity which specialises in “post hospitalisation” rehabilitation for all ages. Our aim is to provide individuals with support in social care and use of equipment for spinal injuries in their own area.
Sp.I.N.I. is involved in two main categories:
Sp.I.N.I. will help raise funds for equipment for people with disabilities in their own areas to be made available in public places such as health centres, leisure centres and sport complexes.
Specialised equipment to be made available at local leisure centres (motomed viva4).
Our aim is to provide services to help individuals with spinal injuries get back into a social environment and to adapt to life with a spinal cord injury.
Free Hoist Use Scheme
Sp.I.N.I. has a free hire service for patients who require a hoist on a social basis e.g. hotel breaks, over night stays etc.
Sp.I.N.I. will take care of the actual delivery and collection of the hoist. We will cover all hire costs, with only a nominal charge of £10 to cover delivery.
All you have to do is contact Sp.I.N.I. with the date and venue and if availability permits, we will take care of it.
