Houses targeted in bomb attacks
Police are appealing for information following two bomb attacks at homes in Co Armagh on Wednesday.
Detectives believe the attacks at two houses at Brooke Manor and Milltown in Ahorey may have been racially motivated.
The devices were put through the letter boxes of the houses shortly after midnight, however only minor damage was caused and no-one was injured
The area was cordoned off while Army technical officers examined the scene and a number of items were taken away.
Sinn Féin MP for Newry & Armagh Conor Murphy has slammed those responsible for the attacks.
“It was only through good luck that nobody within the two houses was seriously injured and I would extend my best wishes to the victims of these bomb attacks," he said.
Ulster Unionist Newry & Armagh assembly member, Danny Kennedy, described the attacks as "despicable".
"This will abhor all right-thinking people, and the local community will undoubtedly rally round and lend every support to the victims."

Two houses have been attacked in separate petrol bomb attacks in Belfast and Downpatrick. In north Belfast, a device was thrown through a glass pane in the front door of a house on the Crumlin Road at around 11pm last night. In Downpatrick, a house in the Mount Crescent area suffered scorch damage in the early hours of Friday morning.

Co Armagh man to stand trial over Omagh deaths
A 36-year-old man has been committed for trial for the murders of the 29 people killed in the 1998 Omagh bombing. Sean Hoey, of Molly Road, Jonesborough, denies the charges and others connected to other Real IRA attacks including one in 2001.

Families escape injury in petrol bomb attacks
Two families have escaped injury following petrol bomb attacks in Co Down early this morning. The devices were thrown at two houses in Annesborough, near Castlewellan, at around 1.30am. One of the houses, where a woman and two teenagers were sleeping, suffered scorch damage. No one was injured in the attack.

A number of people have escaped injury after a series of gun and pipe bomb attacks on their homes in County Antrim. A ten-year-old boy escaped in jury after shots were fired into a house at Mounthill Drive in Cloughmills, County Antrim.

Roads Closed In Craigavon Security Alert
Army bomb experts are examining a suspicious object at Monbrief Road East in Craigavon. A number of roads have been closed in County Armagh due to the security alert. The New Line in Craigavon is closed from the Tandragee Road junction to Glenavon Lane and the Monbrief Road East from Roundabout B to Drumgask Road is also closed.
